Hackney’s six candidates for Mayor debated at a hustings event last night at the North London Muslim Community Centre in Cazenove.

The candidates – Mayor Philip Glanville (Labour), Imtiaz Lunat (Conservative), Alastair Binnie-Lubbock (Green Party), Pauline Pearce (Liberal Democrats), Harini Iyengar (Women’s Equality Party), and Vernon Williams (Independent) – made statements and took questions from residents.

The event was recorded by the group Occupy London, which has kindly allowed the Citizen to post these videos.

The Citizen is holding its own free hustings event with all the mayoral candidates on 29 April at the Arcola Theatre in Dalston from 2pm to 4pm.
