A third man has been charged with the murder of teenager Joseph Burke-Monerville.

19 year old Burke-Monerville, a university student at London Metropolitan University, was shot in the head nearly two years ago as he sat in a parked car in Clapton.

Shaheed Nowaz, 19, will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (19 December) charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder.

Scott Andrews, 27, and Roshane Reid, 20, both from Hackney, appeared at the Old Bailey on Monday also charged with Mr Burke-Monerville’s murder and two counts of attempted murder.

They have been remanded in custody to appear the same court on 2 March.

Another man was arrested in connection with the investigation and is currently on bail pending further enquiries.
