Photographs donated by Olympic gold medallists Mo Farah and Christine Ohuruogu, and Paralympian Jody Cundy are amongst those up for charity auction on 7 November.

Other well known amateur snappers have also generously donated their pictures in aid of this one-day event at the Hoxton Apprentice in aid of East London HIV charity, Positive East.

Hackney councillor Carole Williams will host the one day event, which is a tribute her close friend Barry who was HIV positive.

Councillor Carole Williams said: “I wanted to do something to remember my friend Barry, who was the first HIV positive person I knew. When he was alive he didn’t have the sort of services that Positive East offers.”

“Now I can do my bit to help raise the funds they need in order to deliver the support, help and advice that hadn’t been available back then. Positive East has helped thousands of people living with HIV and I want to do my bit to help them continue to do that.”

Positive East has delivered HIV services in East London for 25 years, offering advice and education services as well as testing, counselling, and support for people living with or affected by the disease.

Entrance to the event is free. All funds raised from the sale of their artwork will be donated to the charity.

All winning submissions can be seen at Instagramers London.
