Culture Mile Community Day

Celebrate the irrepressible creativity and community spirit of Culture Mile with plenty of opportunities to get stuck in!

On Sunday 17 February, explore a fantastic selection of art forms and experiences at Culture Mile’s Community Day. This free day of drop-in sessions will bring together some of the most fun-filled and creative activities that London has to offer.

Try your hand at pottery in interactive workshops, and make your mark in a unique art installation. Or explore new sounds and new instruments in our music workshops, and tire your little ones out in our colourful playroom.

People of all ages are welcome to drop by, all the activities are free, and there will be plenty of food to enjoy. With music, craft, art-installations and interactive activities, there’s something for everyone!

Culture Mile
Culture Mile is a new home for contemporary culture in the ancient heart of London’s working capital. The City of London Corporation, together with the Barbican, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London Symphony Orchestra and the Museum of London, are bringing the area to life with imaginative collaborations and exciting events. Recent projects include Smithfield 150, a free family-focused festival spectacular and Jason Bruges’ latest kinetic installation Brutalist Tapestry, currently in the Beech Street Tunnel.
