Two men, 18, charged with sex offences against four schoolboys

Two 18-year-old men have been charged with the sexual assault of a group of four boys who were on their way to school.

The pair are accused of attacking the 13 year-olds on a footpath in Lower Clapton Road, at around 8am on 8 July.

Last week police released CCTV footage of two men they wanted to speak to in connection to the assault.

Police have charged Son Lawrence Paul Ward, of Chester Road, Edmonton, with one count of sexual assault on a male.

Gerard Ward, of Elmcroft Street, Clapton, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault on a male and one count of attempted sexual assault.

Both men will appear in Wood Green Crown Court on 26 February. They have both been placed under curfew between 9pm and 6am.
