A man from Greenwich has denied a murder charge over a fatal shooting in Clapton in September.

Christopher Erunse, 28, appeared in court on Monday 21 December, charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

He denies all charges and is being held on remand until he appears before the Old Bailey on 9 May.

Erunse was arrested in Birmingham three days after Moses Fadairo, 25, was gunned down in daylight on Chatsworth Road on 26 September.

Fadairo staggered into Mighty Meats butchers and collapsed in a pool of blood. Parademics tried to resuscitate him but he died at the scene.

A second suspect, Bradley Wynter, is due to appear in court alongside Erunse, charged with assisting an offender and possession of a firearm. The 28 year-old is from the Pembury Estate.
