Man charged with murder of Moses Fadairo

A 27-year-old man was due in court today charged with the murder of young father Moses Fadairo.

Fadairo, 25, was gunned down in broad daylight on Chatsworth Road just after lunch on Saturday (27th) in front of terrified shoppers. He staggered into Mighty Meats butchers where he collapsed in a pool of blood.

Paramedics tried to save his life but he died from his injuries.

Christopher Erunse, from Greenwich, was arrested on Tuesday (29th) in Birmingham and will appear at Thames Magistrates Court today charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

Two other men, aged 23 and 25, were arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on bail.
