Exciting young opera company POP UP Opera are performing two brilliant one act comedies intertwined – Donizetti’s Rita and Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona – in the amazing light and airy space at the Dalston Department Store.

The company have been touring their brilliant and highly acclaimed productions in unconventional venues across the country, such as bars, barns and boats and caves.

Instead of a formal theatre environment, the intimate venue makes for a much more direct connection with the singers and the music, something even seasoned opera-goers often miss.

We have a pair of seated tickets to give away for POP UP Opera on Wednesday July 24 at Dalston Department Store, 3 Richmond Road, E8, at 7.30pm.

To be in with a chance to win, just answer the following question:

What is the name of the company staging the production of Donizetti’s Rita and Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona in Dalston Department Store?

a.)   POP UP Kabuki

b.)   POP UP Opera
