A man found stabbed to death in Clapton on Saturday (May 4) has been identified.

Scotland Yard named the man as James Sweeney, 30, a shop worker, originally from Montserrat who lived on Jessam Avenue.

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses and information.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Jessam Avenue between the hours of 3pm and 9pm on Saturday.
