Craft fan? You have until Saturday 8 January to enjoy an exhibition of pretty paper fans and other artwork by See ‘n’ Make at Hackney Central Library. This exhibition of pattern and design features fans and other art made by parents and children from Morningside primary school in Chatham Place.

The paper used for the sculptures is hand-printed, using blocks made from corrugated card or other common household materials.

See ‘n’ Make has been producing learning resources for adult education since 2007. The team encourages people to produce through learning workshops and displays the finished projects in exhibitions.

Long-term relationships are built with schools, museums and galleries through See ‘n’ Make’s projects, which it says is a great way for children and parents to work together in a constructive way, stimulating creative thinking through hands-on, practical activities.
