Sid Vicious, Johnny Rotten and Malcolm McLaren; Paralympian swimmer Dervis Konuralp and numerous professional sportsmen and women;  Alan Sugar, and other local, successful community and business personalities – and you?

Hackney Community College has been a central focus of the local community since around 1792. It may not have been called Hackney Community College in your day – you may know it as Shoreditch College, Hackney Technical College or Hackney Adult Ed. You may have studied at Keltan House, Chelmer Road, Ayrsome Road or Brooke House – before it became BSix.

The College is forming a new network of ex-students and friends. To go to the launch party on Thursday 25 November, 6.30-8.30pm: you’ll need to email HCCAlumni@hackney.ac.uk for an invitation.

Hackney Community College says the idea of the network is to bring together people from a similar background who are proud of their roots; who may be willing to give information or support to other members or current students; and who want to access benefits including discounts on training for businesses, gym membership, conference room hire, training facilities – as well as a discount in Open Kitchen bar and restaurant.
