Why does the official Hackney Mayoral literature exclude any information about the Conservative candidate, Andrew Boff?

No. This is not an offensive comment. It is a legitimate question.

Because the Conservative candidate didn’t read the rules properly and has spend the intervening three weeks complaining he was “banned”.

The rules concerned were passed by parliament two years ago and have been publicly available since then. Since even the Communists managed to follow them without a problem (and I do agree that they are restrictive – but they apply to all candidates equally) I can’t imagine how he managed to ignore them.
