Academy Principal Mark Emmerson said, “We are delighted to welcome the Prime Minister and the Secretary of State to see our wonderful new building and to meet staff and students as we start our incredible journey as an Academy. This is an exciting time for us and the hard work starts now.”

Catherine McGuinness, Chair of Governors, said, “I hope that the Prime Minister and Secretary of State enjoyed the opportunity to see the hard work which has gone into the opening of this Academy. We are thrilled that the students have now started and look forward to helping them progress.”
