Mangle ‘acid attack’: Arrest warrant served in Hertfordshire leading to unrelated arrests for guns and drugs

Police served an arrest warrant in relation to Sunday night’s acid attack at a London Fields nightclub, resulting in two unrelated arrests, the Hackney Citizen can reveal.
Met police issued an arrest warrant for a Hertforshire address in relation to the incident at Mangle nightclub on Sidworth Street, where 12 people suffered burns injuries.
Hertfordshire police served the arrest warrant at the address in White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne, at 7.50pm on Easter Monday.
Officers made two unrelated arrests and seized firearms and cannabis plants.
A Herts police spokesperson said: “A 54-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
“Officers seized several plants and illegal firearms at the address. The two people arrested are still being investigated.”
The Met police has confirmed to the Citizen that the arrest warrant served at the Hertfordshire address was issued in relation to its Mangle nightclub investigation.
Hundreds of people were evacuated from Mangle at around 1am after a man sprayed a substance at two people inside the club.
The London Fire Brigade said tests found the “unknown corrosive” was “a strong acidic substance”.
Two men in their 20s remain in a serious condition in hospital. A minor celebrity was among the injured.
Police are still investigating the attack.
Detectives are hunting for the partner of a reality TV star in connection with an acid attack in a packed east London nightclub.
The Metropolitan police want to question Arthur Collins, who is the boyfriend of Ferne McCann, after the evacuation of 400 people from the Mangle E8 nightclub in Hackney.

Why are Hertfordshire people allowed here at all? Don’t they have their own clubs.
Use to be a time, Gants Hill, Ilford, Chigwell, Epping, Buckhurst Hill, Romford was where over tanned, Prosecco drinking, Home County WAGS, Footballers and TOWIE types went to party. Now it’s London Fields and their bringing their chavvy behaviour. I imagine the Trust Fund babes and fellas aint too happy eh? 🙂
