Arthur Collins, the ex-boyfriend of reality TV star Ferne McCann, has been charged along with another man over the acid attack in Mangle E8 nightclub in London Fields last Monday.

Collins, of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, was arrested at an address in Northamptonshire on Saturday following a high-profile manhunt.

He has been charged with 14 counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and one count of throwing corrosive fluid on a person with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

A second man, Andre Phoenix, was also picked up on Saturday and faces seven counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Both men are due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today.

Twenty people suffered burns as a result of the attack, with two of the victims left partially blinded.

A 33-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were arrested last week in connection with the incident. Both were later released from custody.

Police in Hackney continue to investigate.
