Police investigating allegation of rape of thirteen-year-old girl in London Fields

Police are investigating the alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl in a late-night attack in London Fields.

Detectives believe the sexual assault took place between 9pm on Saturday 16 July and 1am the following morning.

Police cordoned off part of the park near Landsdowne Drive for most of Tuesday last week while they searched for evidence.

No arrests have been made.
