Man charged with James Sweeney murder

Scotland Yard say detectives have charged a man with the murder of James Sweeney in Clapton.

Jeremy Lewis, 29, of Collinson Court, Generals Walk, Enfield was charged with the murder yesterday (Wednesday 8 May).

He will appear in custody at Redbridge Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.

Mr Sweeney, 30, a shop worker, originally from Montserrat, lived on Jessam Avenue.

He was found dead on 4 May.
