Hackney shooting: Man wanted for conspiracy to murder

Police are hunting a man wanted for conspiracy to murder as part of an investigation into a shooting in Hackney.

Officers have appealed for information as to the whereabouts of Nadi Kwame, 18, after they were called to reports of a gunshot in Pownhall Road in Haggerston on Sunday 31 January. No injuries were reported.

Detectives from the Met’s Central East Command Unit are leading the search for Kwame, who was last known to reside in the Ilford area but has links in Hackney and Barking.

In the event of a sighting, the police warn members of the public not to approach him, but to call 999 immediately.
