Residents have one more day to weigh in on NHS pharmacy services in the borough as a public consultation closes at midnight tonight (9 February).

Hackney Council is asking for feedback on its draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA), a profile of the borough’s pharmacy services and health needs, including how accessible pharmacies are for local residents.

The PNA is drawn up by the Health and Wellbeing Board every three years and will be published on the council’s website in March.

Pharmacy services are provided under the NHS by community pharmacies, and include giving out medicines and medical appliances on prescription, and giving general health advice.

The consultation was launched on 11 December and closes at 11.59pm tonight (9 February).
