A woman caught up in Sunday’s “acid attack” at Mangle nightclub in London Fields as gone blind in one eye, while police have arrested a woman in three raids in Hertfordshire.

The Met police confirmed a 22-year-old victim has lost sight in her left eye after suffering burns injuries to her face.

Police raided three addresses in Hertfordshire this morning in their hunt for Arthur Collins, 25, the former boyfriend of The Only Way is Essex star Fern McCann, who is wanted for questioning over the attack.

A woman, 32, was arrested in today’s raids and remains in custody at a north London police station.

Hundreds of people were evacuated from Mangle in Sidworth Street after acid was sprayed inside the club, leaving 20 people with burns injuries.

Detective Inspector Lee McCullough from Hackney CID said: “I am continuing to appeal to Arthur Collins to hand himself in so that we can talk to him about the incident in the nightclub.

“I would also urge anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact police.”

Police believe an acidic substance was used on two men in their 20s inside the venue during a LoveJuice club night after a dispute.

Two male victims remain in a serious but stable condition in a specialist burns unit in an Essex hospital, said the Met.

Police raided an address in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, on Monday in relation to the Mangle investigation.

Two people in their 50s were arrested and firearms and cannabis plants seized, though police said these arrests were unrelated to the nightclub attack.

Hertfordshire police said today the two people arrested have been released under investigation.
