New Hanbury Project Shoreditch art show

A Shoreditch church is hosting a new show of works by some of the area’s less-well known artists.

Put together by the New Hanbury Project, which supports people in rehabilitation, the show of around 30 paintings by locals is open 12-2pm till 27 January.

Most residents and visitors to the Shoreditch area will have some exposure to the issues of homelessness, addiction, mental health problems and long-term unemployment, but the New Hanbury Project (part of Spitalfields Crypt Trust) hopes that the work on display will give a more personal perspective.

New Hanbury Project students will be present to discuss their work.
